It’s been a little over a year since our first encounter. I still remember the first day we talked, the first time I found out that you liked me, our first conversation on AIM, our first phone call, and our first kiss. I remember all of it but most importantly, I remember the first time I thought to myself that I finally found the one for me. It’s weird to look back and realize that it’s been a year since we’ve been together. And you know what the best thing is about looking back though? Still realizing that as of now our relationship is still as strong if not stronger than when we first started dating. I love it, I love us. I love how we use to play games over the phone, playing 20 questions with one another just trying to make it more interesting to find out more about each other. Our daily webcam sessions that we would have and how we would take stupid pictures together like the one above. My 16th birthday and how you stayed up with me til 12am the night before just so you could be the first to say happy birthday. Those meetings at the park when we had to keep our relationship low-key from our parents yet they found out anyway. Our first time meeting each others families and right off the bat they loved us both. When we went to Disneyland together during Christmas time and you asked me to be your girlfriend AGAIN because you felt that asking me under a gazebo was not as “romantic”. That first time I gave you my phone number when you pulled that ‘I have to go to sleep, text me?’ line with me yet you text the wrong number anyway. I just love looking back at our relationship reminiscing how we first started. Our relationship has grown and has improved in so many different ways. I love you and I love all you have done for me. You literally complete me and without you it wouldn’t be the same. After all the fights and arguments, we’ve managed to pull through together. We make one amazing couple no matter what anyone else says. It’s always going to be you and I at the end of each day <3
